InkProof is a Canva app that checks designs for common print production issues. This policy explains how InkProof handles your data.
InkProof collects no data. All analysis runs locally in your browser within Canva's sandboxed environment. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
InkProof does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or design data. Specifically:
InkProof uses Canva's Apps SDK to read elements in your current design (text, images, shapes) for the purpose of running preflight checks. This access is governed by Canva's permission system and happens entirely within Canva's sandboxed iframe.
To check image resolution, InkProof uses Canva's asset API to obtain temporary URLs for images in your design. These URLs are loaded in your browser solely to measure pixel dimensions (width and height). Images are never stored, copied, uploaded, or transmitted to any external service.
When you enable the safe zone overlay, InkProof adds temporary colored rectangles along the edges of your design to visualize safe margins. These overlay elements:
InkProof will never delete or permanently alter any existing elements in your design.
InkProof has no backend server, no database, and no API. The app consists entirely of client-side code that runs within Canva's editor. There is nowhere for data to be sent.
InkProof does not require you to create an account or sign in. It does not use any authentication system beyond Canva's own app platform.
InkProof does not use any third-party services. No analytics providers, no error tracking, no advertising networks, no external APIs.
InkProof does not collect data from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected, there are no age-related concerns.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will be updated. Since InkProof collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
